MoMac on stage with Microsoft at Windows Phone 7 press conference

October 11th was the official announcement of Windows Phone 7 operating system and application store, presented by Steve Ballmer himself. This ecosystem is a total new approach from Microsoft and brings to the market some great smartphones manufactured by HTC, Samsung, LG and Dell.

MoMac was proud to be chosen by Microsoft for the press conference held in Paris, together with Microsoft’s French MD and Orange’s Head of Consumer Marketing.

As MoMac is now fully compliant in supporting Windows Phone 7 within its publishing platform, Olivier Milcent, Chief Marketing Officer at MoMac, talked about our experience as a mobile specialist, and why we really think Microsoft is going to be big on the mobile media:

  • The user experience is awesome, with a total reinvented user-interaction design. It’s fast, it’s dynamic and very intuitive. And most of all: it’s a beautiful interface!
  • Nine millions developers around the world already develop on dot.net technologies. So we really believe that the adoption curve will be very fast within the developer community. Developer tools are powerful and MoMac can rely on strong support from Microsoft to get the best out of them.

MoMac is currently building 2 applications, including l’Express Magazine, and of course can deliver WP7 optimized mobile sites by using the MoMac’s platform.
